I built Sap Chess to implement the Woodpecker Method.
Previously, I printed my own physical flashcards and went through them. I did this with Chess Steps 1 and Chess Steps 2.
One problem I had was that I couldn't easily share these physical flashcards with others. Also, on my commute standing on a subway, it wasn't easy to get the flashcards out.
I built Sap Chess to solve these problems.
Chessable has great material from amazing authors. But it's content is too advanced for me, a 1900 Lichess.
I needed a tool that I could easily create collections of problems, share them, and drill them.
